It’s my pleasure to be back again after a long weekend. 
 
Below is the report of the children we have in our setting. 
We have 17 children in which 6 are in the ward  11 in the rehab. 
•⁠  ⁠Jerida is continuing very well and Dr. Kimaro has said she is ready to go home and return on February 2025 for the next surgery. 
•⁠  ⁠⁠For Ayubu we have come into conclusion that, he can go home and return on February 2025 meanwhile he is to continue with ant Tb medications. 
•⁠  ⁠⁠Shangwe is already kept on physiotherapy. 
•⁠  ⁠⁠Other children are proceeding well no any complication is reported so far.

The main reason we had to raise the money for building was the move this one room in a general ward out to a specific building for child safety – that will be finished before Christmas – will send a video when I am over there.

There is no way James Buy Sell could have afforded the new building on top of the 10-15k per month we spend. So from the bottom of my heart thank you so much – it truly was the best Xmas in a long time for a lot of children.

Appendix One - Parents payback

You may be wondering what the $5000USD is for parents money – for several years unbeknown to me a trusted outreach worker was taking amounts from poor parents. I was told this may be happening, but I did not do enough to find out and stop it. It was all too hard. When I was presented with irrefutable evidence we made changes and we have taken on to pay back all parents – none of this comes from donor money – this is all from me.
 
 
We intend to pay back via money transfer to phone and its being handled like this – your generous donations have allowed my to afford to do this – thank you.

Thank you all for your generous donations to the poor children. Really we are appreciating a lot of blessings to you all. 
 
I and Batro will do as you wish to cashback to each parent and we are promising to get photos also for those we cannot find we will keep their money in a separate account. 
 
For the coming year 2025 We are ready to switch  to  cheap ways to reduce the high costs of  transferring money without going against the laws of Tanzania.

APPENDIX TWO: Christmas Gifts to Medical Workers

 
APPENDIX TWO: Christmas Gifts to Medical Workers – we give each year 5kg of Rice, 3 kg of oil and pay for a Christmas Dinner for 270 hospital workers, many of whom earn below $200USD per month. We also provide a weekly lunch for morale in the child surgeries program. We think this cost is worth it
